The Soft Ninja

It has been a while since I updated this blog with my latest Soft Ninja comics.  While this does not include everything I missed in the last year, by a long shot, it does include everything in 2018.

The Soft Ninja wants... no.  The Soft Ninja NEEDS to know which of you decided to switch from yummy Honey Nut Cheerios to gross, plain, stupid Cheerios, and why?

The Soft Ninja is disappointed in your cheap carpet brush and your generic carpet cleaner and the fact that you didn't Scotch Guard the floor, but mostly that you only had red wine to pair with your leftover shellfish.  If you had white wine none of this would have happened.

The Soft Ninja does not usually read romantic novels.  But this one has ninjas.

I love the ones that have a slightly ominous message.  Almost all of the original SN drawings were ominous like this.  I don't like the "lip" in this one.  It should have been protruding from the other side.  It would have looked more realistic.

This is probably the best SN drawing I've done in a year.  I really liked it and the message.  Incidentally, one of my New Year's resolutions was to cut back on the pessimism and stay optimistic.  It has been hard.

These reports are going to be the death of me. Day by day my job gets less tolerable. I can take a lot of shit at a job. I'm pretty laid back. But I should have seen the writing on the wall when they disabled the Reversi on all of the office computers.

This week is crazy busy. I'm doing federal reporting bee S for the job I don't want, putting together some packages for the job I DO want (I'll share later) and my puppies went back to school. 

But, I still managed a Soft Ninja for your enjoyment.

Ok, this isn't the best drawing or the best caption. But I've spent most of the week working on animation and getting the kids ready for school. So this is what's I gots.

The Soft Ninja is not a project in an if himself. He is a character I created in an exceedingly boring meeting a few years back.  I have several projects brewing for him, but mostly he is just a go to subject for pictures I want to illustrate.
